GREAT DEAL...NEEDS TLC! |
|
Air conditioning, camper canvas, radar and
a generator! |
| This boat has an
unusual and innovative design with a unique T-shaped hardtop and spoiler
section. Supported by the windshield, the forward end of the top provides
wind protection while underway. This boat is equally innovative belowdecks,
where angled bulkheads give the staterooms and head compartment unusual
shapes - a notable departure from the squared-off interiors found in boats
of this era. The salon is also quite spacious due to the extra-wide beam.
There are sleeping accommodations for up to six, and the head compartment is
fitted with a separate stall shower. Outside, the cockpit is very large with
seating for eight to ten. A teak pulpit and swim platform were standard on
this boat, and three in-deck hatches provide good access to the motors. It
is also built on a solid fiberglass, deep-V hull with a very wide beam and
propeller tunnels to reduce draft. This boat does need some work to fix her
up…but it offers a great place to start! |
