| This boat is an
excellent example of the very popular 426 Catalina which has a reputation
for sturdy construction and a well laid-out interior. The exterior was
recently done in Awl Grip making it a totally wax-free boat. This boat has
been only on the Great Lakes in freshwater and always in heated storage for
the winters. There is a large flybridge with new carpeting and seating for
five, as well as ample seating in the enclosed aft deck which also has new
carpet. Accommodations include a large salon, full-sized galley, two
staterooms with queen-sized berths, and there are two heads - one with a
shower and the other with a tub/shower combo. The interior has been totally
updated including new light fixtures, carpet, bedding, custom mattresses,
curtains, upholstery and mini blinds. There are sleeping accommodations for
six - 2 in master stateroom, 2 in the forward VIP stateroom, 1 on the
pull-out sofa, and 1 on the convertible dinette/settee. The forward
stateroom has lots of storage which includes a full hanging closet, multiple
storage drawers, a sink and a large mirrored medicine cabinet. This
stateroom has a queen size berth and a private entrance to the forward head.
The master stateroom has a queen pedestal bed, lots of drawer storage, two
hanging closets, a lighted mirror and makeup area and access to the master
head compartment. There is a Sony stereo receiver and a Kenwood CD player
located in the salon with Pioneer speakers located in the salon and master
stateroom. There is a full-sized galley down to starboard and a full dinette
that will seat six to port. There is a new GE microwave, larger
refrigerator/freezer/icemaker, 3-burner Galley Maid stove with oven and a
double stainless sink. There is hot/cold water, 12 gallon water heater and
pressure and dockside pressure water available from a 160 gallon tank
located under the aft stateroom berth. The blue Sunbrella canvas is in good
condition and completely encloses the bridge and aft deck. A new front
window privacy screen was installed in 2007. Other equipment also includes a
Danforth anchor, anchor chain, rode, dock lines, (3) fenders, Ideal
windlass, navigational lights, dual horn, Weaver snap davits, (3) Marine Air
ac/heat units (main salon & both staterooms), 2 bilge blowers, 3 bilge
pumps, fuel cross-over system, new Racor fuel filters, raw water strainers,
automatic Fireboy 1301 halon system, (3) batteries (new in 2006) with
switches, C-Charger 9000 battery charger, 6.5kw Onan generator (238 hours)
and dual 30 amp 110v shore power cables and 12volt DC power. Bottom coated
has been done regularly (spring 2007 latest), owners manuals and several
spare parts also included. Optional Zodiac 10' dinghy with 6/hp 4-stroke
Mercury outboard (new 2005) are available at extra cost. |
