| This 44 Island Gypsy
is a long-range cruiser with a traditional trawler profile-style and an
interesting galley-up interior. The hull is a solid fiberglass
semi-displacement one with fairly high freeboard, hard chines, and a
prop-protecting full-length keel. Inside, the three-stateroom floorplan is
arranged with two small staterooms forward of the salon and a spacious
master stateroom aft. The L-shaped galley is located aft in the salon, next
to the companionway stairs, making it easily accessible from outside. Both
heads have stall showers, and the interior is all done in Burmese teak
woodwork. The decks (including the aft deck and flybridge) are teak as well
as the handrails and transom. This boat is also equipped with a 6.5kw Onan
generator, an auto fire extinguisher, and a 3-burner Princess stove/oven. |
